The Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition challenges scientists, startup founders, and hi-tech entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into real business opportunities. The Competition’s objective is to develop start-ventures or social enterprises that create competitive advantage and innovation. Organized by the University of Cyprus Centre for Entrepreneurship and sponsored by the Cyprus Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Energy, CyEC takes place against the backdrop of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the real economic challenges of 2020. Anyone is free to participate.

Announcement of Stage 1 Results: 28 September 2020

Submission of Business Plans (Stage 2): 1 December 2020
Pitching Day (closed session): 17 December 2020 (tbc)
Final Conference and Award Ceremony: 18 December 2020 (tbc)

Free hosting in KAYAK facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Berlin, Germany, for 1-3 months.
